CORE Architects is a Pittsburgh-based firm, providing professional Architectural services to public and private clients in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, West Virginia, and North Carolina.

In 2015, three valued members of the firm became Principals and Owners of the company. With the addition of David W. Nitchkey and Peter F. Szymanski, AIA, to the Principal-Management team, our firm is better poised for growth and to deliver on our commitment to high value design and customer service.

CORE provides a full range of services from project inception thru each stage of planning, negotiations, construction, and occupancy. Our history of successful feasibility studies provides our clients with a usable master planning tool for making critical long-term decisions.

In schematic design, our focus is on value. We strive to provide aesthetically pleasing and spatially exciting design solutions that are cost effective and meet the needs of the client's program.

In the construction phase, we undertake constant Value-Analysis-processes by which we evaluate every decision according to its cost-value ratio, to determine the best, most cost-effective, solution to each project's unique challenge. We partner with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, Civil/Site Licensed engineering firms suitable for the project.
