Core Architects llc provided Construction Management Advisory services for this complicated, three phased, redevelopment of the High School/Middle School campus. Phase I encompassed construction of the new Moon Area High School building. Phase II involved a $34 million renovation of the old High School building to become the new Moon Middle School. The renovation included the construction of a new admininistration wing, conversion of the old pool to classrooms and a new media center, complete interior renovation of all academic space and the cafeteria, renovation of the auditorium to professional production standards, and construction of a new auxiliary gymnasium. Core provided pre-design phase and construction period services, including estimating, scheduling, value engineering, constructability review, and on-site project representation.
