The McKeesport Elementary & Intermediate School (MEIS) is a 119,000 GSF building that was designed to educate approximately 600-700 students from Kindergarten to 6th grade. Programmatically, MEIS is set to add Arts & Language Academy Classrooms, Media Center, Gymnasium, Cafeteria, and Shared Administration space.

Designed as a high performance building, MEIS Elementary & Intermediate School is to be LEED Silver Certified.
