The Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center is a new High School serving the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, located in Midland, PA. The building houses state-of-the-art performance and educational space for grades 9-12 and includes a new 750 seat full performance theatre that compares favorably to collegiate and professional-level performance venues in the Pittsburgh and Cleveland regions. The building program includes classrooms with cutting-edge technology, flexible training space for art, music ,and dance, and a professional video and audio studio. The building also incorporates a fully equipped 180 seat black box performance theater, and new practice and rehearsal spaces. The facility is open to the public on evenings and weekends, and has hosted performances by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and other professional touring musical and theater groups. Core Architects also provided professional construction management advisory services for this project in conjunction with the developer/ contractor, Castlebrook Development.
