From September 2003 through August 2009, David Nitchkey served initially as the Construction Purchasing Manager and later as the Manager of Architectural Design Services for Dick's Sporting Goods, where he was responsible for managing the architectural and engineering consultants, including the creation and maintenance of prototype construction documents. He also worked with design consultants to develop new store prototypes, established and maintained design criteria to ensure consistency in store branding, created architectural and engineering drawing standards, and managed the in-house architectural design of special projects.
