Core Principal Matthew Pfennig was a member of the Design and Construction Management team of the project while at WTW Architects. The USC Community and Recreation Center is a 90,000 sq. ft. fitness, aquatics, recreation, and community center surrounded by 475 acres inside Boyce Mayview Park. Since opening, this facility has become a natural oasis and personal playground that extends fun and excitement beyond the backyards of Upper St. Clair and southern Pittsburgh families.
Featured program elements include a large community gathering space, two group exercize studios, a children's playroom, two poolside party rooms in addition to a 3600 sq. ft. community room, men's/women's locker rooms, family changing rooms, and two full size gymnasiums.
