Core Architects is a growing western Pennsylvania Architectural firm with a diverse practice, experienced in new buildings and renovation projects for Health Care, K-12 Public School, Municipal, Commercial, and Residential clients.  Our designs are guided by three principles:  Functionality, Best Value, and Quality of Life.  We apply these principles to our projects to achieve outstanding results that meet our client’s Strategic Needs and Goals – buildings that our clients can be proud of.  We strive to deliver a Small-Firm Service Experience to our clients and staff, while providing Large Firm Deliverables and Expertise.

Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture Degree (AXP/Registration Track preferred but not required)

  • 0-5 years of Professional Experience

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent

  • Experience with Sketch-Up (preferred, but not required)

  • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, & Various Rendering Software

  • Strong Communication Skills

  • Willingness to contribute and learn on every level.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Design Solutions at Schematic and Design Development Phases of projects

  • Develop Construction Documents for small and large public-bid and private projects

  • Assist with Bid Phase and Construction Administration Phase Services

  • Assist in Developing Graphic Materials for projects and firm promotion

  • Other opportunities as may be offered to support the firm and promote professional growth
