The Community Guidance Center is a new 30,000 Square Foot Behavioral Health Center located on rural property in Indiana, PA. The goal of the design is to create a safe, welcoming, and comforting environment for consumers and staff. The site of a former farm, the 15 acre property is a rolling meadow. The architecture reflects the rural farm vernacular, providing a human scale and hospitable charcter that is purposely not institutional in nature. Outdoor space is integrated into the master plan to create a series of outdoor rooms that extend the indoor space to embrace the natural surroundings.
